Reds Timber Flooring were established in 1988 as a small one-man residential business. More than 30 years later, they are one of the most respected flooring contractors in Western Australia, completing many jobs for some of the most prestigious and awarded builders in Perth, mainly focusing on solid local timbers and timber staircases.

Reds partnered with Dunlop to take on the Curtin University project which included three buildings of academic facilities and research space, an integrated retail mix of facilities, short-stay accommodation for staff and visitors, as well as a commercial office space. All student accommodation was installed with 9,800m² of our Elementary Vinyl Plank in Dark Oak and 7,900m² of Elementary Vinyl Silver Oak. The corridors were installed with 5,800m² of our Heartridge Vinyl Plank in Nevada Plain, and all common areas were installed with our Heartridge Smoked Oak Range in Sierra Frost. All of our planks were installed on Dunlop Advantage 3 underlay and protected with Dunlop Floorshield throughout the project.

Our Vinyl Planks and Advantage 3 Underlay were chosen as they met the stringent Greenstar compliance and testing criteria which includes having great acoustic ratings to reduce noise transfers. The products installed also complied with the standards set by the National Construction Code (NCC).
